The Life Channel's schools TV network is an interactive, multifunctional system designed to enhance the learning experience of pupils of all ages. Using state of the art technology, learning is no longer restricted to the traditional pen and paper method. By installing the schools TV network, your school can benefit from:

• Video - Our content is relevant and engaging to ensure that pupils remember key points and we are always uploading new content to our system.

• Digital signage - Our TV channel is a great place to post messages that need to reach pupils, parent and the local community. It is also a great way of publicising school events.

• Ticker Tape - A scrolling on screen message can be used in a variety of rolls from delivering important messages to simply praising pupil work and behaviour.

• Interactive Capabilities - The schools TV network can be connected to an interactive whiteboard so that our resources can be used in the classroom.

• Web Portal - Our web portal allows you to access the schools TV network archives and use videos that are relevant but may not be on screen that month. This gives you access to over a thousand videos that can be used in learning.

• Web Streaming - Our videos can be streamed directly from the website rather than downloading so there are no large wait times to download content. Simply find the video that you want and press play.

• Uploading your own content - The schools TV channel can be used to showcase pupil work. Upload pieces of work for the whole school to see or have pupils create videos and then upload them onto the network. Seeing their work on screens around school can be a huge motivation to pupils.

• The Linking Schools Project - Our Linking Schools Project is a chance for schools from completely different areas to join together and enrich the experiences of both sets of pupils. Using the Linking Schools Project a rural school can link with an inner city school and vice versa, allowing pupils to see how learning can be different in different areas of the country and giving pupils a chance to make friends with people they wouldn't usually have the chance to interact with.
