Partnerships

The Life Channel continuously looks to identify educationally focused projects that may enhance student learning and build community engagement. The network allows direct communication with students, parents and teachers, encouraging their participation in a variety of initiatives and helping to build upon school and community spirit.

Over the past year, The Life Channel has:

• Helped raise awareness and funds for charities such as Whizzkids United, Youth Music, Marie Curie Cancer Care and CLIC Sargent.
• Helped students break the Guinness World Record for the world's biggest singalong.
• Organised a charity football match with the cast of Channel 4 soap Hollyoaks.
• Worked in close partnership with the Daily Mirror to raise awareness of knife crime through the development of a student filmmaker's competition.
• Raised awareness of a science related film library and resource centre, allowing students to gain greater access to science material and information.
