Community network

The Life Channel Community network is a brand new channel developed to engage audiences in a variety of venues throughout the community. Formerly known as Community Communications Network (CCN), The Community network offers high impact community television supporting local authorities and community bodies to enhance self promotion and publicize local initiatives whilst delivering the same high quality, engaging health, wellbeing and community programming synonymous with The Life Channel brand.

With crime and fear of crime remaining key causes of concern to many individuals within the community, the need for greater, more targeted communication highlighting on the positive actions of public authorities and support services is paramount to helping make each area a safer and better place to live and work.

Whilst much of the work taking place within these communities is achieving positive benefits for the people living within them, public sector organisations have a self acknowledged problem in promoting themselves and their initiatives to their own communities. The general public is not only unaware of the existence and achievements of these agencies and partnerships but individual community members are also not participating in the many safety, crime reducing and other initiatives taking place in their own areas.

With screens strategically located in community venues including educational establishments, health authority, council and police buildings, together with supermarkets, fast food outlets, sports, shopping and entertainment complexes, The Life Channel Community network improves awareness of the issues that may affect peoples' lives and addresses ways in which community leaders are successfully tackling them.
