NHS Camden (formerly known as Camden PCT) has formed an exciting partnership with The Life Channel's practice-based TV network to communicate key health and well-being messages to patients across the borough.
TV screens installed in NHS Camden's GP and dental surgeries will broadcast The Life Channel's health-related programming alongside targeted health promotion campaigns and information about local services aimed at Camden residents. The installation of The Life Channel TV network is part of a massive investment programme by NHS Camden to upgrade local facilities and services in GP and dental practices, including improvements for disability access, extended opening hours and portable health screening equipment to reach housebound patients more effectively.
"The Life Channel's network will provide NHS Camden with a unique means of communication for health advice and information which is focused on the needs of local people," said Professor Anthony Kessel, NHS Camden's Director of Public Health. "We are committed to providing clear and accessible information to help the people of Camden to look after their health."
