World Aids Day Tournament, Durban

The Life Channel helped to provide an exceptional day of fun for 350 children by being a sponsor to WhizzKids United's World Aids Day Tournament at the ICC Durban, 4th November 2008.

In addition to the tournament, the children, from Muzi Thusi Primary School in Machibisa, Edendale (192 players and 158 spectators), were treated to a football skills workshop ran by six players from Thanda Royal Zulu FC of the SAPL, a climbing wall, and two walk-about entertainers who performed on stilts, juggled, made balloon animals and performed magic tricks.
