Lifechannel Renewables is aiming to help schools develop a unique solar energy solution. Working In conjunction with LG, using their highly durable, award winning Solar Photovoltaic Panels, Lifechannel Renewables will introduce your school to a Renewable Solar energy Solution that will cut carbon emissions, provide a long-term income and aid the school with a measurable programme of sustainable development.

Schools are now eligible to receive a guaranteed income for the next 25 years for the generation of solar energy. Furthermore, Lifechannel Renewables will assist your school in taking full advantage of this programme with a school's solar energy solution that requires no capital outlay and is both economically and environmentally sustainable.

The Feed in Tariff Scheme is a Government backed initiative that will guarantee payments to your school for 25 Years on all electricity that's generated from your School's renewable Solar Energy System. Your energy supplier will pay your school up to 21p for every unit of electricity produced from your School Solar Energy System - this is in addition to the savings you make from a reduction in your fuel bills. These payments are guaranteed for 25 years and will rise in line with the Retail Price Index.

In addition to the sum your school will receive, you will be paid an extra 3p for every unit of electricity you don't use which then can be transferred back to the National Grid. This reduction in Bills is a primary motivator for many of our clients; however, the renewable energy generated will also help your school to reach its sustainability objectives.
