The Life Channel is broadcast in over one thousand doctor's surgeries throughout the country, broadcasting messages on health and wellbeing for everybody. Sometimes, people who have seen our screens get in touch with us to give us some feedback on our content.
Recently, we were delighted to hear from Caroline Morgan who felt that the information on our screens helped her during her pregnancy.
We would like to take this opportunity to offer congratulations to Caroline and best wishes to her and baby Charlie from everybody at the Life Channel.
Dear Life Channel Team,
I have been meaning to write to you to say thank you. It was because of your programmes information on a TV in my doctor's surgery that I asked about the swine flu vaccine whilst I was pregnant as it said on the screen that I qualified.
The surgery then booked me in for the jab a week later. I got very ill a month later during my pregnancy and developed pneumonia from a flu type illness which resulted in a hospital stay for 5 nights. Thankfully myself and the baby are fine but the doctors said that if I hadn't had the vaccine it could have been a lot worse. It was because of your channel that I got the vaccine as no one, not even my midwife, suggested I get it. So THANK YOU; you are obviously making a big difference to people's lives.
