  • Macmillan Cancer Support  have been working with The Life Channel for several years, using the network to communicate with sufferers of Cancer and families of those affected, providing unique support services and advice.

  • For the month of January 2009, The Life Channel became The Change4Life Channel, helping to promote the Department of Health's Change4Life initiative encouraging better nutrition and exercising.

  • The Life Channel have developed strong bonds with the Department of Health, providing a platform to communicate with viewers in the GP surgery whilst they are in a receptive environment to health based messaging. We are presently broadcasting the new 18 weeks initiative, along with several other campaigns.

Providing expert information on conditions, treatments, local services and healthy living, this website has been developed to help you make choices about your health, from lifestyle decisions about things like smoking, drinking and exercise, through to the practical aspects of finding and using NHS services when you need them.

  • The Life Channel has been working with the Food Standards Agency for over 18 months to help promote healthy, well-balanced diets and food hygiene.

We have broadcast a number of campaigns including Food Safety Week and the FSA's Salt Campaign and have worked to act as a mouthpiece to inform and educate viewers of a variety of FSA initiatives.
