In line with its expansion in recent years, The Life Channel adapted its approach to working with Primary Care Trusts to ensure greater levels of uptake in GP's willing to host the network.

Having developed strong ties with the Premier League and the Football League, The Life Channel and Newcastle Primary Care Trust invited all GP's, practice staff and government agencies within the community to attend a launch at Newcastle Football Club.

Speakers at the launch included Directors of Public Health for other Primary Care Trust's who have enjoyed The Life Channel and representatives of a number of government agencies who have promoted campaigns across the medium.
