Craigavon launch

In May 2008, The Life Channel successfully launched its bespoke GP surgery television service across Craigavon and Banbridge in Northern Ireland.

The launch was held at Craigavon Civic Centre and was hosted by The Life Channel on behalf of the Southern Health & Social Services Board and the Southern Health & Social Care Trust was attended by over 80 senior professionals from across the Craigavon and Banbridge area.

The launch was attended by GPs and Practice Managers, senior members of the regional health board and trust, representatives from local government, NIO Community Safety Unit and local community agencies to celebrate the arrival of The Life Channel across Southern Northern Ireland.

The launch signifies that with over 92% of surgeries across the Craigavon & Banbridge agreeing to host The Life Channel, the channel can now provide the Health Board, the Health Trust and other users of the service with the ability to reach an estimated 1,000,000 patient visits in the first year alone. This provides an ideal platform for key stakeholders to communicate relevant messages directly to patients and members of the Craigavon & Banbridge community.
